The 2009 Annual conference will be held at Pipestem Resort in beautiful southern West Virginia. This year promises to be our best conference ever with special guest speaker Mark Breslin (www.breslin.biz). Mark is a world renowned labor Management Speaker known for a “no holds barred” approach to improving our skills, attitudes, and working together as labor/management teams to increase union market share. This year will also include a special breakout series to serve the interests of training professional and employers. Each group will have a breakout session designed with their needs in mind. Following the breakout series, we’ll welcome Barbara McCabe with the IUOE National HAZMAT program. Barbara will be speaking on the new buzz word…”GREEN”. What is it, what does it mean to us, and how should we be prepare our workers to live and perform the jobs in a “green” world. Each evening, you can join us at our hospitality room (sponsored by the WV Constructors Labor Council) to mingle among old friends and make some new ones. The relationships created through the WVJLUMATAC conference are some of the most beneficial. A opportunity to bring employers, government officials, labor leaders, and training professionals together is never wasted time.
